3 Easy Ways to Boost Immune System against Coronavirus

Simple tips to boost immune system during Corona outbreak.

Since the end of 2019, Coronavirus or COVID-19 has triggering panic attack among world community, including Indonesia right after two people declared get infected by Coronavirus. Hence, people should not panic because there are easy and simple ways to boost immune system against Coronavirus or other diseases.

1. Maintain Cleanliness

It is undeniable if we do not know exactly what kind of germs or bacteria attached to our own hands while doing a lot of daily activities. Hence, washing your hands regularly is one of important things to keep your body healthy against any kind of diseases including Coronavirus. WHO (World Health Organization) recommends 9 easy steps to wash your hands properly.

  • Wet hands with water.
  • Apply enough soup to cover all hand surfaces.
  • Rub hands palm to palm.
  • Rub backs of fingers to opposing palms with fingers interlocked.
  • Rotational rubbing of left thumb clasped in right palm and vice versa.
  • Rotational rubbing, backwards and forwards with clasped fingers or right hand in left palm and vice versa.
  • Rinse hands with water.
  • Dry thoroughly with use single towel.

2. Healthy Eating

Eating healthy food is other perfect way to keep your body healthy against Coronavirus. To boost your immune system choose foods contain high vitamins A, C, E and antioxidants. According to WHO, people with good immunity will not be infected by the Coronavirus. Foods contain a lot of vitamins A including spinach, carrots, kale and broccoli. For vitamins C, there are papaya, pineapple, mango and strawberries while vitamins E mostly find in avocados, tomatoes, sunflower seeds and almonds. No matter how busy you are running daily activities, do not skip your meals.

3. Get a Good Rest

Lack of sleep makes people easily getting sick. It simply because, body producing lower antibodies due to lack of rest. Lack of sleep also causing stress, whereas other ways to protect your body against Coronavirus is no stress.

Along with those three points, ensure your body is well hydrated every single day. Drink at least 8 glasses water to keep your kidneys and liver work optimally as well as strengthen body immune system.
