3 Simple Ways Keep You Healthy in the Office

There are many ways to maintain a healthy body for active worker to keep their activities maintained. Working for 8 to 10 hours a day has bad effect for your health in the future if you cannot balance it with fit body. Here are some simple tips you can do to get and maintain healthy body even you are working for 10 hours a day.

1. Do not Skip Your Meal

Delaying your meals will turn into bad habit that increases the risk of lack concertation, dizziness, feeling tired even gastritis. When you are eating your meals on time, nutrients that your body needs are always maintained. Try to have meals in same time every single day, so your body will know when it gets food. For example, breakfast at 9 am, lunch at 12 pm, afternoon snack at 3 or 4 pm and dinner before 8 pm.

2. Replace Unhealthy Snacks with Fruits

It is quite recommended to munch at least 4 hours after lunch, but it does not mean you are free to munch any snack to reduce excessive hunger or appetite. In order to make you full longer, you can replace unhealthy snacks, like gorengan (fritter, fried foods) with fruits. However, there are some fruits perfect for evening snacks, include papaya which contains lycopene, a type of antioxidant good for your body, mango contains a lot of vitamin C, melon have a high water content, apple and banana.

3. Take Breaks

You should probably sit in the same position for a long time while in the office. Do some stretching, include hands and feet. For example, every 30 minutes, do some light stretching for a few seconds. It also important to rest your eyes from computer in simple way such as closing your eyes for 5 – 10 minutes.
