Beef Steak with Blackpepper Sauce to Spice Up New Year’s Eve

400 grams beef (tenderloin, sirloin, rib-eye or t-bone)
¼ grated pineapple
1 tbsp margarine
1 clove garlic (pureed)
½ tsp grounded black pepper
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp salt
Blackpepper sauce:
½ chopped onion
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp grounded black pepper
1/2 tsp powdered stock
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp salt
200 ml water
1 tbsp cornstarch (mix with 2 tbsp of water)
1 tbsp margarine
2 tbsp marinated sauce
1. Cut beef into two pieces, the approximate weight of each beef is 200 grams. Cut into slices 2 cm thick.
2. Using plastic bag, marinate sliced beef and grated pineapple, let it sit for at least an hour in the refrigerator for the best flavor.
3. After an hour, remove the beef from plastic bag, rinse throughly, set aside.
4. Mix all ingredients for marinating the beef, stir well. Prick beef all over with a fork on both sides.
5. Put marinated beef into the container, let it sit for at least four hours in the chiller. Also set aside two tablespoons of marinated sauce for blackpepper sauce mixture.
6. Heat non-sticky pan and add margarine.
7. Add onion and saute until wilted. Once heated, add garlic and cook until fragrant. 
8. Add oyster sauce and sweet soy sauce, stir well. 
9. Add water, powdered stock, sugar and blackpepper, gently cook until sauce constant bubling. 
10. Add marinated sauce and cornstarch, stir well until on low heat until it thickens. You can change the seasoning to your desired tastes.
11. Remove the beef from container. Heat another non-sticky pan, make sure you really heat up the pan before adding margarine.
12. Sear until steak develops a golden-brown crust on both sides over low heat. You can checking for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center. The tougher to cut and chew, it is almost completely well done your steak is.
13. Loosely cover and rest steaks on a cutting board for at least 10 minutes before slicing them to ensure they don’t dry out as well as give tender, juicy, and flavorful cuts.
14. Put on serving plate. You can also add vegetables cuts like broccoli, carrots, sweet corn or green beans.
15. Drizzle black pepper sauce over the top of a juicy steak or you can serve sauce in separate bowl and ready to be enjoyed!
