Chef Tong Chee Hwee, who’s lined up to be the skilled hand behind the pleasures of Chāo Cháo Jakarta’s dishes, is a Chinese chef who was awarded a Michelin star and managed to keep it for more than a decade.
Despite having a number of awards, Chef Tong is still faithful to using traditional cooking techniques. At this new Jakarta restaurant, he serves up some signature dishes such as Chāo Cháo 8 Treasures dim sum, with dazzling appearances and winning taste.
Not only that, Chāo Cháo Jakarta also offers Jasmine Tea Smoked Chicken with tantalizing taste, and Charcoal Grilled Octopus made with a mixture of Whiskey Sha Cha Sauce. All the ingredients come together to give an exploratory menu while introducing guests to stellar dishes from different regions of China.
