As we know, fried rice is usually cooked using a frying pan. But if you want something more practical and save your gas, you can cook fried rice using a rice cooker. How to? The following is a rice cooker fried rice recipe for four portions, which is launched from "25 Resep Masakan Favorit ala Rice Cooker" book by Dapur Kirana published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama.
 
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
250 grams of beef bacon, thinly sliced
1 chopped onion clove
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
500 grams of rice that has been washed and drained
4 tablespoons Japanese soy sauce
100 grams of frozen mixed vegetables, leave at room temperature
500 ml of beef broth from 2 packs of box broth
 
How to make fried rice rice cooker:
 
  1. Close the rice cooker, preheat it.
 
  1. Add vegetable oil, beef bacon, onion, and garlic. Stir until the onions are soft.
 
  1. Add rice, mix well.
 
  1. Mix the vegetables and pour the broth. Stir well.
 
  1. Close the rice cooker, cook for 40 minutes until the rice is cooked.
 
  1. Open the rice cooker, pour the soy sauce. Stir well.
