Jakarta has a large number of tourist attractions perfect for your weekend gateway, for example museums that has historical heritage, like this Kite Museum of Indonesia. Located in Pondok Labu, South Jakarta, this museum offers you interesting things, are you curious?
1. It has distinctive building design than other museums. It has a typical Javanese style with four traditional buildings. Each building has its own function, such as white pendopo (pavilion) as a room for video screening about the history of kites to the main building which is a kite museum itself.
2. It has at least 500 forms of both traditional and modern kites, two and three dimensions in various shapes. Hundreds of these kites came from all provinces around Indonesia and abroad, such as Netherlands, Korea and Italy.
