With simple inheriting family recipes (from her mother), the owner yet caterer, Hj. Mayyulis got the 1st place in Minang Cuisine Festival which was held by UPTD Pavilion West Sumatra last 2011 at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII).

After winning the first place, rendang and dendeng of Hj. Mayyulis gaining popularity among food enthusiasts. Hj. Mayyulis using inner thighs known as hard ones to cook. But, Hj. Mayyulis has her own secret to not break it into pieces and remains tender.

She also using 28 herbs to make her rendang taste way more delicious. A plate of Nasi Rendang consists of white warm rice served with rendang, jackfruit curry, cassava leaves and green chili paste with salted fish. If you look closely, its rendang like swimming into a lot of oil which made of slow cooked coconut milk. It is not only give you appealing aroma but also delectable flavor make you want for more and more.
