The entertainment industries is one of sector affected by coronavirus globally. Not a few production houses around the world have been postponed their upcoming screenings amid this pandemic and here are the list.
1. Fast and Furious 9 (F9 The Fast Saga)
This franchise movie starring Vin Diesel was scheduled to air in May 2020. Due to the concerns of COVID-19, Fast and Furious 9 will postpone all events until April 2021. As reported from verified account @TheFastSaga, Fast and Furious 9 informed “[…] We are moving the global release date to April 2021 with North America opening on April 2. While we know there is disappointment in having to wait a little while longer, this move is made with the safety of everyone as our foremost consideration.” Unlike the previous Fast and Furious franchise, this season brings conflict within Toretto family as common issues people have seen in a real life.
2. A Quiet Place Part II
As reported by Variety, A Quiet Place Part II was scheduled to air on September 4, 2020. Unfortunately, you will have to wait a little longer to see this sequel until April 2021. In this sequel, the Abbott family must face the terrors of the outside world as they fight for survival in silence. They realize there are other survivors who also forced to venture into the unknown. Through his Instagram account, co-writer, director, and actor, John Krasinski announced the release of the sequel was postponed until right time.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) was scheduled this film The Eternals to air in February 2021. As reported by Comicbook, The Eternals involves a new team of MCU superheroes—ancient aliens inhabited the earth for thousand years—facing human enemy, The Deviants. This movie tells the story after Avengers: Endgame and starring big names including Angelina Jolie, Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek and Jumail Nanjiani.
