Sekoteng Recipe to Warm Your Body in the Rainy Season

In the rainy season like now it's best to drink warm, especially at night. One of warm drinks that taste good is sekoteng. To make it taste more delicious, this drink can be mixed with coconut milk. And don't forget to add white bread slices, green beans, and other fillings to make it taste more delicious. The following is the recipe for sekoteng, which is quoted from Sajian Sedap.
 
Ginger water ingredients:
1,500 ml of water
200 grams of sugar
400 grams of ginger that has been burned
2 concluded pandan leaves
2 lemongrass stalks that have been crushed
 
Supplementary material:
100 grams of kolang kaling, cut into long, and boiled
25 grams of boiled red pearl sago
75 grams of roasted peanuts
25 grams of boiled Chinese henna
2 pieces of white bread that has been cut into squares about 2 cm
50 grams of green beans that have been boiled
 
Taste enhancer:
Coconut milk to taste
Sweetened condensed milk to taste
 
How to make a sekoteng:
  1. Boil water, sugar, ginger, pandan leaves, and lemongrass over low heat until boiling and fragrant.
  2. Boil all the filling.
  3. When the filling is cooked, place it in a bowl, then arrange it.
  4. Pour the boiled ginger water into a bowl.
  5. Add the coconut milk and sweetened condensed milk to taste. Sekoteng ready to be served!
