Sherina and Sadam Will be Back in Petualangan Sherina 2

Miles Film announced that they will soon produce Petualangan Sherina 2 and an animated version of Petualangan Sherina.

Miles Film has good news for you. Through the Instagram account @milesfilms, the production house announced that it will soon produce Petualangan Sherina 2. Not only that, Miles Film is also preparing an animated version of Petualangan Sherina.
This sequel to the most favorited family film will be directed again by Riri Riza and produced by Mira Lesmana. Sherina Munaf and Derby Romero will still play the main characters, Sherina and Sadam. Petualangan Sherina 2 will come with an adventure full of action and with fun songs.
Interestingly, in Petualangan Sherina 2, Sherina was also involved in story development as well as being a composer and music director, replacing her late teacher, Elfa Secioria. Apart from that, her older sister Virania Munaf also played a role in developing story and become a co-writer for film scenario, with Jujur Prananto, Mira Lesmana & Riri Riza. Currently, Petualangan Sherina 2 is entering the final casting stage and preparing for music recording and choreography.
Meanwhile, Miles Film will produce an animation project for the first time: Petualangan Sherina Animation. This film will again tell the story of Sherina and Sadam's first introduction to today's children's audience in the form of adorable animations.

Preparation for the animated version of Petualangan Sherina began since May 2020 and has entered the final stage of developing the animation design for the characters in Petualangan Sherina story. For production, Miles Animation invites Langit Animation studio in Jakarta as a Project Leader in collaboration with Hompimpa Animation from Surabaya, and Afterlab from Bandung.
The adult and animated versions of Sherina and Sadam are scheduled to meet Indonesian families in theaters by the end of 2021. And we definitely can’t wait!
