Do you know that Jakarta has a Modern Fish Market? If you don't know yet, this fish market is located at Jalan Muara Baru Raya in Penjaringan, North Jakarta. Muara Baru Modern Fish Market has been operational since it was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo in March 2019.

If you want to visit the fish market it is recommended to use mountain sandals or rubber sandals, because the market floor condition is slightly muddy due to melting ice from fish storage boxes. As the fish market is, here you’ll find many sellers who sell fish, shrimp, calamari, crabs, to sea shells. It is perfect for seafood fans who want to find seafood to be cooked on your own.
