Most people like to share a lot of things on social media. As a habit, either latest experiences or something more personal, all displayed on social media. Unfortunately, also most people doesn’t know there is things they can share and not on social media with other users. Here are simple ways to use social media more wisely.

1. Think Before Posting

Hold yourself to not posting personal information, including addresses, telephone numbers and daily activities. Do not let those personal information used by irresponsible people. For example, while you are heading to somewhere, your tire breaking. Try to not posting the incident on any social media, to minimize crime. Because, it is not possible bad people using your information (posts) to steal or even hijack your vehicle.

2. Say NO to SARA and HOAX

Re-check and make sure content you want to share on social media doesn’t contain elements of SARA and HOAX. This also applies for your comment on any posts. Basically, SARA is an action based on sentiment opinion about particular religion, race or class. That is why, SARA issue have a big potential to divide society. So, does HOAX, it is a falsehood intended to fool people.

3. Block Negative Contents

Do you ever find negative contents while scrolling your explore or home? Especially those which contain provocation or hate speech? You can immediately block those accounts. As a wise user of social media, you won’t be easy to get fool and engaging in unworthy debate with other users in specific comments.
